Are Honeymoon Cruises A Good Deal?

For some people honeymoon cruises offer the best option for “not-often” in a lifetime travels. Couples are often strapped when it’s time to pay for a wedding trip after over spending on a lavish wedding. Then they can feel a little cheated. The wedding, no matter how nice it is, just lasts one day. Then they are eating at fast food restaurants; staying in economy lodgings and taking public transportation to see the sights in a mid-sized city during the off season! That’s not a good start to a new life together.

There are lots of good examples of honeymoon cruises that are a good value. No one said these are cheap. Cheap is for a get away weekend after a decade of marriage. Honeymoon cruises are rather a good dollar for dollar comparative value. This is the essential difference between being frugal and being cheap. Frugality may cost more than other options but the buying power is the same as far more expensive options.

A true measure of the frugality of honeymoon cruises can be seen by comparing world class Tahiti resort accommodations to a Tahiti honeymoon cruise package. The former can cost more in the long run since the latter often includes airfare; a few days cruise and a few nights on-shore hotel stay. Check out the website for Air Tahiti Nui if you want to talk value.

There is by the way a reason why French post-impressionist painter Paul Gauguin chose Tahiti to paint in. As paintings set in this local by this artist clearly attest: Tahiti is beautiful! That is the single most important reason for visiting or honeymooning in Tahiti. It is simply beautiful. A painter or photographer can work for years trying to do justice to the uniquely hued sky and sea of Tahiti.

Is There A Single Source All About Honeymoons?

Posted by Hope on August 14th, 2007

Does anyone know all about honeymoons that there is to know? A couple plans in order the engagement, the wedding and finally the honeymoon. The natural order of things leaves planning a honeymoon as an afterthought. Some are lucky enough to receive a honeymoon resort package or a honeymoon cruise as a wedding gift from a generous relative. That takes a lot of worry out of both budget concerns and planning issues.

Otherwise a couple who is already stressing out from even the simplest engagement party and wedding needs to come up with some memorable honeymoon options.

This blog will be all about honeymoons. It will attempt to bring with it some news, prices, and strategies for planning that very important honeymoon. There needs to be some budgeting and concern for a wedding trip that allows the couple to relax from a happy but stressful event.

Each couple’s honeymoon plans are as unique to them as any aspect of their wedding. Whether they have decided to sail the oceans of the world alone on their private yacht or just buy a package deal honeymoon cruise; each couple makes their honeymoon different from anyone else’s. There will always be individual moments and memories that last a lifetime.

While some prefer the well advertised all-inclusive resorts and cruises others would rather just explore some part of the world on their own terms. There is no right or wrong destination or mode of transportation. Even if they got hitched on a bicycle built for two there’s a rails-to-trails vacation route made just for them!

So this blog, in the posts to come, will strive to tell all about honeymoons not all about advertising honeymoons. It will drop some names of companies of interest to honeymooners and list some offerings by those companies. This will only be done in the name of presenting a hopefully unbiased range of possibilities.
